A question about this place:
hello! my friend isabel and i are going to stockholm on thursday. is everything going to be closed because its easter? could you let us know lovely places we can go to in case everything is shut?

I don’t know what’s a lovely place for you (-:, but I think most places should be open.
The Museum of Modern Art is open every day except Easter Monday, for instance. Skansen, the open-air museum/zoo is open as well, and has many Easter events.

well, i meant like the shops might be shut but how about the restaurants and pubs at night? i am quite happy to sleep early but i would like to try swedish beer somewhere :)
this is probably a silly question, but i live in london and even here many things will be closed.

as far as i know, the pubs have the tendency to shut down at 3am, which is a little sad… but you find some nice bars there, unfortunately, everything’s a little more costly (alcohol), compared to Germany. One museum that is nice to see is the Vasa museum: http://www.vasamuseet.se/sitecore/content/Vasamuseet/InEnglish/Visit/hours.aspx
It is open also.
