I'd like to go to Hamburg and Berlin. In a word or two, what are the biggest differences between these two cties?

Berlin is twice as large, but while Hamburg is one big city, Berlin is a bit more like a set of smaller cities connected to each other. It’s not hard to get around, though, since the subway system is one of the best in Germany.
Also, the feeling is different, as HH is a port city in northern Germany, while a part of Berlin used to be in East Germany, with corresponding architectural styles.
