Well unless you’re a complete downtown freak, don’t miss other great spots in Argentina: Rosario is full of life and young people, Misiones has the falls and the jesuit missions, Corrientes and the natural reservoire Esteros del Iberá (wild life, photo hunting and all), the Patagonia and its Scottish charm.
Don’t let it die in Buenos Aires!

So many things to do!
Shopping: Abasto, Alto Palermo, Galerias Pacifica, Paseo Alcorta, Florida St.
Walk along puerto madero, find a nice restaurant and have dinner or lunch.
Go to Recoleta cementery, go to the craft fair there on the weekends.
Go to Malba, the moder latam art museum.
Visit plaza de mayo, visit the cathedral and check if you can find “La manzana de las luces” (underground catacombs).
Take the “Tren de la costa”, go to Tigre and take a boat ride.
Take the old underground (Line A) and find one of the old wooden wagons (from the early 1900s.)

Walking is the best way to get to know the city (there are a lot of nice cafes where you can have a break and eat empanadas), and they already gave you a good list of things to do :-).
But if you have the chance, go to El Calafate and Ushuaia, in Patagonia. There you will find outdoor activities and impressive landscapes (like Perito Moreno Glacier, in El Calafate; and Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego and Lago Escondido in Ushuaia). It’s a little far from Buenos Aires, but it’s worth it.
Here are some photos (some of them you can check in the map):

Spend a few days in Buenos Aires shopping drinking dancing,..you wont be short of things to do!!
Then Hightail it down to Peurto Madryn for a bit of whale watching or to El Calafate to see the famous advancing glacier Perito Moreno…From there you cant miss El Chalten for some proper hiking up to Mount Fitzroy!!
After that you probably just have time for a bit of wine tasting in Mendoza before you gead back to Buenos Aires for another few blow out nights!!!

Grab a guide to Buenos Aires that has walking tours and hit the streets. Don’t miss the architecture in Recoleta, the beautiful parks around Palermo, and the giant ombu “trees” of Plaza San Martin.
Add to your list of must see museums and sights a guided tour of the Teatro Colon. Spectacular. BA is such a great city, you can’t go wrong.

A cool restaurant: ‘Acabar’ in Palermo

The best icecream in the world: ‘Diecci’ It’s between Navarro street and Chivilcoy street in Villa Devoto, city of Buenos Aires.
My favourite street in Buenos Aires is Corrientes. A lot of shows an action.
