April is usually somewhere between 30s-50s. It’s typical that we get huge snowstorms in March.. so you’ll probably miss that, but a snowy April isn’t completely out of question. Just be prepared. :) Honestly, though, it’ll probably be nice.. maybe a little wet and muddy.

It depends, it’s been warmer the last few years. I also live in NYC, but grew up in Minneapolis and visit about 5 times a year. In general, April in NY is the same as April in Minneapolis.

The real differences in weather are right in the middle of the winter and the middle of the summer—when Minneapolis gets colder and warmer, respectively, than NYC.

Expect 40s in early April, although it may get up to 65 on a warm day.
