There are lockers available for baggage storage in the Pisa train station. Also, wherever you stay, hostel, hotel, etc, may have baggage storage. I found the baggage storage and lockers at the train stations to be most convenient though.

Left it in the hotel in Florence, kept passport on my person, and locked valuables up in the hotel safe. (Ambascatori the first time…right near the train station.) If it’s small baggage you’re talking about, you need to carry it with you. Not big lockers/theme park type things around for you to set it aside at.

Take the local train from the Termini Firenzie. At the Pisa stop there is a grocery store where you can pick up a nice bottle of Chianti to take to the torre.

You’ll find most train stations have a “left luggage” counter &/or lockers.

We’ll it was different for me becuase I was in the military at the time. We were traveling via a naval ship. Try couchsurfers.com!
