how did you get to ios? Through a ferry? did you have to stop in another island before getting there?

I was in Ios several years ago. I flew to Athens and took the ferry. As I recall there were 3-4 stops at various islands on the way. Slower than the plane, but a wonderful way to travel. They also have an airport and flights from Athens.

A l-o-n-g time ago when I visited, the only practical way to get to Ios was via ferry from Pireaus, which (as I recall) stopped at Paros before getting to Ios.
It’s a beautiful little island – I hope you get to go there!
