A question about this place:
What's your favorite yoga studio in Pittsburgh?

Answers:

My wife likes Pratique in Lawrenceville. Schoolhouse Yoga seems popular, based on the number of people carrying yoga mats around Squirrel Hill on Saturday mornings. (There are several around the city.)

Practique looks great—I like their therapeutic approach to yoga as a way to work on particular aspects of health.

My wife says she likes Pratique’s (heh) flexibility. Other places were too hardcore for her. The woman at Pratique listened to her and modified things to suit her needs and abilities. She can’t recommend them highly enough.

i’ll echo ken—i really like schoolhouse yoga (the one in squirrel hill). the teachers really know what they are doing.

also, on wednesday evenings at the carnegie library in squirrel hill, there is a free (donations accepted) yoga class. it’s so relaxing.

My wife has been going to Afternoon Yoga at the Mt. Lebanon rec center:

Yes, it’s not IN Pittsburgh, but it’s close (it’s close to where we take the kids to school), but the cost seems pretty reasonable, and she likes the instructor.

Looks good—long classes at a good time, and lower cost than I’ve seen at other places.
