Has anyone traveled from Israel to Egypt without flying? Did you run into problems or "i wish I would have known ... before going"

do you mean by car trip ?
if thats it , the answer is yes , if you have another option, pick it up
it will be better if you can go by flying which will be better in dealing with you in the airport .
of course it will also be based on your nationality

By Car, bus, or train. Thanks for the tip, I’ll look and see if there is a cheap flight from Israel. Do you know of any charter airline companies for the middle east like they have in Europe? Thanks for your comments

It can be done via a bus. But it is a 17 hour trip, you still have to go through the border patrol, the bus is often cramped and does not stop very often. If you are on a limited time scheudal (and even if you are not) it is worth shopping around and finding a flight that will get you there in less than an hour for less than $200 (the bus costs around $75 when you figure transfers, etc). Check airlines that are not El Al for better deals.
