I went to Qianmen,Xuanwumen,I heard that hutong is there,but I found nothing.I waled along the road, I just found a mordern street.Nothing is old,nothing is historic.I am so disappointed.Please help me,I won’t be Beijing soon.

I think it will be easier to find a hotong neighborhood in beijing. looking at the tourist map, there is a hostel called Backpackers Hostel near the Confucius Temple. This hostel is right in a hutong neighoborhood. I am not sure the process for renting a hotong to stay at; my friends parents opened thier to us… Good luck! have a good time!
