A question about this place:
Is there anybody who knows something about Zhai Yongmings ??? bar "bai ye" ??? Does it still exist?

I’ve never been this bar, but I’ve read an article about it. Zhai Yongming is a poet, and her bar “BaiYe” seems to be named after a movie. The article was published in March, 2006. So I think the bar should still be there.

Thanks! I’m gonna give it a try. I did a translation of Zhai Yongmings travel reports, so I’m interested in seeing her bar, and who knows, maybe I’m lucky and she’s there.

Wow, so you translated her book from Chinese to German? That’s awesome! I can speak a little bit German, but quite poorly:p I’m still trying hard on it.
Well, since you know Chinese, things will be much easier. I’ve found some information about this bar on the Internet, and I can guarantee you that it still exists. Moreover, it seems quite popular with local people.
