Hmm I don’t really know much about Maritimes… New Brunswick and Nova Scotia are nice? BUt that’s obviously pretty vague

Go to Magdalen’s Island. (Iles-de-la-Madeleine) You’ll love it if you love beautiful scenery, friendly people, weird accents, good food and nice walks on beaches.

I suggest Gros Morne in Newfoundland. It is truly spectacular. PEI was also amazing. I definitely have a soft spot for ocean, and the Maritimes are full of ocean! Stop by a couple of Frenchy’s stores for some good thrift store shopping. Magnetic Hill is also pretty neat.

Oh, where should I start?
Well, right across the border from Maine, in St-Stephen, there’s a chocolate factory. Heading up the river valley there’s scenery and Kings Landing historic village. There’s Fundy National Park also, which has walking trails in the forest and camping.
There are rocky beaches all along the coast of the Bay of Fundy, and sandy ones on the Gulf of St. Lawrence. The tides in the Bay rise 10 m, I think, every day. the Hopewell Rocks by Fundy Park are the best place to see this.
There’s Acadian French culture all up the east coast of NB, and in Moncton, a city of 100 000. Magnetic Hill is sweet.
Wherever you go in PEI, it’s delightful. Red sand beaches, scenic drives, tourist attractions, historic sights by the bucket.
Halifax, in Nova Scotia, is the biggest city in the Maritimes (300 thousand people), and there’s lots to see there. Theatre, restaurants. If you can make it up to Cape Breton the views on the Cabot Trail are amazing. You can take the ferry to Newfoundland from there, too.
whereever you go it’s scenic and historic and quaint. Hope this helps – have a good trip!
