I’d definitly say Brussels too. But I’d advise you to take a good guide and a 1 day jump card (that allows you to take buses, trams and metro for a day) because some great things to see can be a little far apart.

i also think that brussels is better idea, coz there are more famous things to see so you can do more activities and antwerp is just famous for its zoo, port or festivals…brussels’s better definetly!

Ah, all of you! Antwerp has tons of fun things to do, really. You just have to know where to look. The zoo and the port are probably my least favourite places. It’s the city of fashion, so shopping is super here, and there’s a cathedral and picturesque streets and nice pubs everywhere. Of course, I’m a little biased. I live in Antwerp. Har har har.

Depends on what you want to do.
Brussels has the grand place, manneken pis, couple of museums, good restaurants and chocolatiers. Optionally a trip to the atomium or royal gardens, but if you’re only staying for one day that might be too much of a hassle.
Antwerp has the best shopping in Belgium, another (though smaller) grand place, the gothic cathedral, the central station and couple of museums too (lots of Rubens). And I do love the zoo. And the port (great spot for taking pictures).
And if you’re going in the summer and just want to stroll around on pretty cobblestone streets and relax with a beer on a terras next to canals – try Gent. Possibly as cute as Bruges but with much less tourists.
