In my experience, the absolute best thing about Blarney were the grounds. We were only there for one day, on our honeymoon.

If you have a sturdy jogging type stroller for your little one, I’d take it, hope for nice weather, and take a long walk and possibly have a picnic. There are some really fantastic old trees, some plants with truly enormous leaves (bigger than I was in some places) and lots of little forest nooks and crannies.

In the town of Blarney, there’s not much besides a few places to eat and a big shopping center (called the Blarney Woolen Mills? something like that.) So, shopping, but you may want to curb that if your baby gets uninterested.
