Thursday and Friday are not public holidays, so public facilities and commercial bodies should be open. I think Sunday and Monday most shops etc will be closed.
I was at Obika (obika.it) last week and they are for sure going to be open for Easter brunch, so rest assured you won’t starve!
Hope this helps.

I once came across a proverb from Italy saying “Natale con i tuoi, Pasqua con chi vuoi”, “Christmas with your family and Easter with who ever you want”. Sounds like there ought to be open some places to eat and sleep at the least.. :-) Also Milano is quite a big modern city….

Milan is a commercial city, almost an open air mall, meaning that you should be able to eat and probably shop even on Monday, though Sunday morning almost everything will be closed.
some of the most famous shops (corso como 10, hi tech) are usually open on public holidays too. also some international clothing shops in corso vittorio emanuele and corso buenos aires should be open at least on monday (probably la Rinascente, Zara, H&M).
eating out won’t be a problem, it never is in Milan. just drop a question if you need advice on restaurants.
