We did not get to scuba when we were there. They needed a few days notice cause all the scuba seems to happen on the Montigo Bay side and we were on the Negril side. We wanted to do the Snuba, where you have a helmet on but you are hooked to an air hose.

Are you certified? Get cert. before you go! Or I hear you will pay more there.

Never scuba dived, though I have snorkeled many times

It seems for snorkeling almost every hotel and snorkel tour in Negril goes to the same spot

I’ve seen good stuff snorkeling; turtles, eels, a ray, etc.

For scuba diving I’m not too sure, though I agree you should get certified, make sure you go with a licensed company
