Three months? Cedar Point is an amusement park on a peninsula connected to Lake Erie and Sandusky, OH. Three months is more than enough time to ride all of the rides at least 20 times apiece and more than enough time to explore the Sandusky area. You could even make a day trip east to Cleveland to see some other sites or a couple of days South to Cincinnati to see sites there.

As for the rides, if you’re a roller coaster fan, you can’t miss the Top Thrill Dragster, the Millenium Force, the Raptor, the Wicked Twister, and I still enjoy the Mean Streak (though not everyone does).

Hello, owauno, that’ll be good if i could email to you directly. Uhm..i’ll be leaving in May ( still a long way to go!) and i’m currently quite busy with the final exams which will end in April. Haha, it’s better to set this travelling plan aside first! See you in Cedar Point!

Cedar Point itself is fantastic, but the most important other things around there is the highways … so you can get there, and leave. :)

Thanks Kremmen, but the thing is I’m not planning to drive! Coz the driver-seat in Singapore is at the right side, and everything will be in the opposite direction!

I’m from Australia and I’ve driven in about 10 US states. It’s not that bad.

You just have to swap everything over and reorient your position on the road too. (There can be a tendency to drive right up against the lane markings when you swap to the other side.)

Sandusky’s neat, but theres always Maumee and toledo and the surrounding area to go do stuff in!

Hmmm… I’ve never been there for that long, but there are some cool state parks nearby, I believe, and also some historical stuff (some old rock formations, and rareish types of rocks or something) so if you have any interest in those kinds of things you could check that out.

I went on vacation for a couple of days. We stayed in Cleveland, which I guess is about a half hour away. I recommend seeing the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, but it’s really the only other thing we did there. But it was cool. If you want to take a day trip, you could probably make it to Niagara Falls and back in a day. That was really neat.

Sandusky has started this trend of “indoor waterparks” so maybe you should check one of those out. Try this link:

Also, be sure to check out Cedar Point’s attached water park, Soak City!

Oh also, you’re pretty close to Put-in-Bay, which is an island which has a winery, some monuments, restaurants, etc. Another link:

And Cleveland is about an hour to the east, with everything imaginable there, so check that out too. One more link, for the Cleveland area:

Anyway enjoy your stay in Ohio :)

Thanks for the the websites…....

Definatly check out the islands too. There is a lot more to Put-in-Bay than the winery and college kids.

Cleveland is a pretty neat place too. Lots of musums and stuff…
