What is the "Feria de Sevilla" all about? Is it nice?

Feria means festival, and this particular one came up as a way to celebrate stock-trading (cows, horses, etc.) season.
Now, it’s a huge citywide celebration of sparkling lights, people dressed in traditional flamenco garb, funfairs, dancing sevillanas, drinking sherry, eating tapas, taking carriage rides through the city, staying up all night and having a ball.
Can’t recommend it enough.

Now I understand why the rooms are twice as expensive during that time. ;) I’ll try to find something affordable anyways and will be there!

My brother has been and loves Feria. You should definitely go. It seems like a great experience.
