The SUNY Albany campus is like a huge concrete platform with big towers all aroung. Everything is square and was supposed to be futuristic in the 60’s. It gets very windy in the winter because it has long concrete edges that were designed for a hot climate. There are many students of all types walking around here.

Around the campus there are some nice green spots to walk, but all contained on the campus. It is scary to walk at night and there are phones with blinking blue lights for emergencies.

Albany itself can be cool, but not uptown where the campus is… you have to take a bus fifteen minutes to downtown. Uptown is nothing but a big mall and big roads.
