All that. It’s something like $40 per hour, but that’s $5 each with 8 people, and obviously less with more…

I go to uOttawa and the campus bar, 1848, has an open mike/karaoke on Thursday night. Also ZamPub has karaoke nights too and it’s fun !

I went to one of their nights at O’Brien’s (a couple of years ago, mind) and it was pretty good—fun, and some great singers turned up (not from our table :-D). Bear in mind, though, that O’Brien’s itself is very much your basic bar!! Nothing fancy AT ALL. I don’t know what the other places are like…

The only thing about Dog And Pony is they claim they were voted best in Ottawa, but don’t tell you that was years ago and there are alot better ones around. Some that let new people sing just as much as the regs get to sing. Not just every 4th or 5th round of singers
