I’m not sure about places to stay as I always stay with family.

However, as for travelling, try http://www.transavia.com/en – I always get cheap flights from London to Rotterdam. You may be able to find something similar. Or find a cheap flight to London then jump on a plane from there to Rotterdam. :)

hey Dimitri…

As far as i know there are no youth hostels or so in Capelle, but using the underground/metro you get from centre rotterdam in capelle in only minutes.

there are indeed cheap flights to rotterdam airport too! the tips of shewhosings are valid – look into them!

wow i did not know one could sleep so cheap as at the mafkees (see above!)

Mafkees should do! Actually, Transavia doesn’t have flight from Athens, which makes it necessary for me to use other means, which in total adds up to more than the 250 euro of the cheapest flight. Damn those flight taxes! I also considered a boat to Venice and a train from there to Rotterdam, but it all adds up to more as well (always talking about going there and getting back home together). Anyway, thanks for all of your answers so far everyone!

I just found out about SkyEurope. I managed to find tickets for A-dam with just 160 euros! July 4th-July 19th. Do you know about this company? Is it any good?
