I didn’t eat off the beaten path much. I just needed lots of sun, warmth, and sleep. However, I am a foodie and noted two things while dining at my run-of-the-mill resort: 1) The Plantains are incredible. 2) The West Indian Hot Sauce (Baron brand) helps out just about anything if you do get a crappy meal. (It is produced on the island and thus local).
