Downtown Ottawa in the ‘market’ area (near parliment) is generaally where a lot of the bars/clubs are situated. Elgin st. which runs to downtown is also a popular place.

The best pub for selection of beer and atmosphere is definately Pub Italia which is located on Preston St. in little Italy.

Yeah see I was going to say Elgin St. too, and the Byward Market. It depends on your age but I know Zaphods is a pretty popular – live music and all that jazz. Anything else I’m totally useless with. I don’t experience the Ottawa night-life much, haha.
