I would tell you some places you probably already know of… The Gold Souk is cool, tons of knock off Rolexes… Look for a “little” person with a silver tray selling cold drinks… If you see him, just picture him chasing a 6’2” 210lb guy around because he knows that the guy is scared of “little” people. The Burk al Arab is cool, if your rich and need a place to stay… Wild Wadi is cool if its hot out(water park) . I tell you, when I was there, I would hop a cab, look at a map, pick a place and tell the cabbie to go there… I was all over and saw some cool stuff… I say find your own secret spots, stay away from all the “touristy” things and get into the heart of Dubai, visit some mosques, they are generally real pretty and yeah. travel adventorously (i can’t spell today) but be safe. Always pay attention to your surroundings… I wish I was going with ya!

you don wanna miss Ibn Batuta Mall… trust me.

Only 4 days.
Uhm. Emirates Mall. (It is big so will take time).
Emirates Towers. There is a bar, very expensive, go there to enjoy a drink. (Keep it simple because it is expensive) Worth seeing the skyline at night. BEAUTIFUL.
The Creek in Deira, take boat trip. It is not glamorous, but nice. CCHeap and just to see. Just a few minutes from one side to the next.
If you had time:deserts safari would be nice too. They pick you up and go offraoding in the desert, sand boarding, camel riding, smoke shisha, henna painting, dinner, belly dancing. That’s the plan for an afternoon (3.30 till about 9 pm). And if you do get to go, and get a chance, sit next to the driver.;)
