The Biltmore is the only thing I’ve been to. And, I think it’s great. The tickets are $40 per person and you can get them from the Chamber of Commerce (I believe that’s where my family and I got ours).
I don’t do cupcakes except at church, so I would have to defer to Wal-Mart or Sam’s Club Bakeries’ for that. They always have good cookies and cakes regardless of the city.

i live here, so their tons of places to go, the biltmore, or even downtown and go the malaprobs a coffe shop or u could visit black mountain, which is east of asheville.i live in blk. mt.
theres tons of great coffe houses that have capcakes, theres one in blk. mt. called the dripolater!

Hey! :0) I work at the Dripolator and we get these awesome, huge cupcakes in at times. The baked goods are excellent…{Yeah, the coffee’s great,too:0)} and as of Feb. they just opened one in downtown Asheville near the Orange Peel—check it out, thye serve lunch,too!

Definitely check out the Dripolator (location in Asheville, and one in Black Mountain). There’s also a place called World Coffee Cafe downtown near the flat iron building (can’t remember which street). They have great desserts too!
And of course there’s Temptations, which I haven’t been to, but they apparently have amazing dessert. I’ll be hittin that place soon enough.
