United States: Pennsylvania: Pocono Mountains

A question about this place:
My boyfriend & I are planning a romantic trip to the Poconos. But truthfully, I know nothing about the area. Where would you recommend we stay? Is there are particular town or hotel that we should stay at? Other recommendations would be nice, too.Thx

I stayed at the Cove Haven resort which is part of Caesar’s Resorts.

It was for my honeymoon, and it was very nice, but it was also very expensive.

Honestly, in the summer, there did not seem like a bunch of stuff to do outside the resort except for horse back riding and water sports.

It was a nice place to get away and be secluded, but there are plenty of other places to do that for cheaper than this resort. I would only recommend it for special occasions.
