well… i can’t really add to tsiatko’s suggestions… if you only have a few days, stay in the city, there’s so much to see… though Giant’s Causeway is worth a visit- bizarre and beautiful- much like Belfast itself. if you take a tour of the “neighborhoods”, take the black taxi tour… it’ll break your heart, but such is life. be sure to check out the Crown Pub, for the history of it, if nothing else… if you haven’t booked a place, i recommend Arnie’s Backpackers. Good for you! I’m terribly jealous.

Take a trip to Derry (or Londonderry, whatever). It’s a bit of a ride, about 3 hours max, but it’s definitely worth it as it has the most amazing murals and it is where the Bloody Sunday massacre occurred. It’s known as Northern Ireland’s second city and it is surrounded by a wall. It’s good craic.

Giant’s causeway, antrim coast in general is beautiful, running around random paddocks beside the sea, bouncing about on the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge! and Derry is cool toO!
