The most common plug is the British one, so if you are from the UK you shouldn’t need a converter, otherwise yes :-)
remember to take your mask and snorkel (if you don’t have one you can buy it there, but it’s more expensive), a one-use underwater camera (or more than 1, if you are going to do scuba diving, the pictures will be gorgeous, I promise!).
Take some cash (dollars) for tipping and for the airport (in the resort you won’t need cash, everything will be charged to your bill and payed with your credit card on the last day).
If I remember something else I’ll send you a message again.
Wish I were you!! I’m so jealous… :-P
well, you wouldn’t have to bring much stuffs. Voltage in Maldives is 110 or 220 volts, So be sure your chargers and stuffs are compatible with the volts. Most major hotels will provide you with the converters if you need them.
If you are interested in coming to Maldives then let me know. I could help you with hotel reservations and stuffs.

Depending upon which island resort you are going to, pretty much expect a completely laid back experience.
Alcohol is very expense, not sure if you can bring a bottle or two in with you, but if you can, and you like to drink, bring a bottle and enjoy!
