Maybe it’s because if you leave Boston you lose your special powers?
Massachusetts has the best foliage in the country, four seasons and winter snow. Skiing, snowboarding, crosscountry and downhill skiing. Some of the best beaches are here in Massachusetts, seafood, lobsters, steamers, clam chowder, The best schools are in the East, Harvard, BU, BC, etc. to name a few. Most of the people here are down-to-earth and work hard to make a living. Boston for all it’s problems with the “Big Dig” is a wonderful city full of excitement and promise. We are also home of the World Champion NE Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins and many farm teams. What else can I say, I was born in Massachusetts and will probably live here for ever.

I hate it here and can’t wait to get out and never come back! I’m thinking you haven’t had a love affair with a city that’s better than this one.
