A question about this place:
Does anybody know when the turtles come and lay their eggs on the beaches? And if yes, which beaches?

I believe the nesting season is March to July. Turtle Beach and Grafton Beach (among others) were listed as the most active for turtle nesting in Tobago. I believe Grand Rivere and/or Matura in Trinidad are also other places.

Thanks for the info, I’ll bear it in mind for when I visit.

Turtles also come up onto the beach in Grand Rivere in north eastern Trinidad… I’ve been on the beach a whole weekend camping out there, and the turtles come up one by one and lay their eggs… there are other spots across the North East as well.

Yeah I am not too sure when they lay and hatch. Some friends say around February but I believe like everyone else that answered you, it is around March to August. Then about two months later the eggs hatch. Before you go you have to get a permit. I think you could go to the Forestry Division… or you could check by Long Circular Mall the Ministry of Agriculture.

Alot of the beaches on the north coast like Blanchisseuse and Grande Riviere. I went to Matura with some friends ages ago.
