Hi, there is a buddist retreat in Cape Breton in a little village called Red River. You might have to find in under Pleasent Bay, as Red River has a population of about 15 people. It is on the west coast north of Cheticamp.

There’s also a bunch of places in Halifax that are linked to the Shambhala centre. Shambhala centre is probably also an excellent place to check in for any information you might want on other places in Nova Scotia.

And if you’re just looking for a peaceful natural-ish place I don’t think I’d ever be able to tell you all of them. In city there’s Point Pleasant Park. Outside the city there’s Cape Breton, the Annapolis Valley (both areas are just generally very gorgeous and natural feeling places). Keji park is nice. THE OVENS. Beautiful.

More christiany places include the nunnery at Mount Saint Vincent in Halifax.
