A question about this place:
Where in Scotland would you recommend as a good place to live, preferably near Glasgow? I don't want to live in a place that's TOO expensive -- but I don't want to live in a place that's a shambles, either (Neds, etc.)

Answers:

My dad’s family is from a small town called Strathaven, that’s about an hour from Glasgow. It’s a nice town about 20 mins from the nearest hospital, reasonably cheap, plenty of shops in the nearby town, several childrens playparks and it is as easy to get into the countryside from as it is to get to the nearest city.

If you’d brefer somewhere a little bigger than that then East Kilbride isn’t too bad either. More shops, better public transport and slightly further from the middle to the countryside than Strathaven.

Good luck choosing a place to live in Scotland. There are plenty of good places to choose from. :)

Hey there!

I wish I could help you with that one, but I haven’t lived there. I would recommend asking anyone who has lived in or lives in Scotland. You have excellent taste, Scotland is mystical and beautiful!

Hey if you happen to find any resources about moving to Euorpe, please send them my way. I will do research and see what resources I can find. I am hoping to ether live in Ireland, France or Italy.
