A question about this place:
I have a friend who is currently in Visalia, and will be living there through the end of the school year. Would it be worth my while to make a visit? What would there be to see or do in or around Visalia?

I lived in Visalia briefly a long, long time ago. I am not current on things to do right there in town, but you would not be far from the Sequoia National Forest. And you can get there by driving through a lovely community known as Three Rivers.
