A question about this place:
Things are looking good to get there by the end of this year. Any tips for the country and the region as a whole?

I recommend going off the beaten path and spending some time in Mendoza, Argentina. It’s a quaint little town with tons of character. There are excellent restaurants, shops and if you enjoy outdoor activities, you can easily take day trips white water rafting, horseback riding, paragliding and trekking through the Andes. It’s a very dry climate and there are outstanding wine tours as well (they are known for Malbec). If you have time, travel south to Patagonia (I wish we had time for this). If you eat meat (which I don’t), Argentina is known to have some of the freshest and most delicious meat in the world. Oh and be sure to explore the leather shops!

Patagonia! Hands down one of the most beautiful regions in the world.

I rate Buenos Aires very high as well though.
