Hi! There are plenty of small and medium caffes / restaurants with hot spots ready to use – and suprisely for free! :) If you want to have connection for your laptop – all major GSM operators have special promotions for guy like you – ~ 30$ monthly access for wi fi (rather slow, but working pretty okey for mail checking and basic surfing the net.

Great! It sounds like it’s pretty safe using and having a laptop there if there are many cafes giving it away for free. Sadly in the US they haven’t quite figured this one out. Canada yes. The major providers – orange, t-mobile and o2?

You can either go with Neostrada or Astercity – the two main options in Poland. It depends on which one of them supplies your building. If you into downloading stuff go with Astercity as they don’t have any monthly limits. Neostrada are a pain in the ass as far as customer service goes too.

Am I reading this page correctly for a neostrada high speed connection? It would seem that the pricing is between 28 and 83 Zlotych which is between $9 and $26.

I’m wondering if there are certain areas of downtown that I’d be more likely to find neostrada since that sounds like the way to go. I’m wondering if I’ll be able to get the 6MB connection for 6 months or on a sublease if I can increase it then decrease it on departure.
