In Heaton (just east of the city centre), there’s a couple: The Sky Apple Cafe (100% veggie) and Belle & Herbs also has a very respectable veggie selection.

Quite nice, relatively quiet, good selection. Personally not a vegetarian, so prob not the best judge of whether the food was good veggie food, but I definitely enjoyed what I had there.
For breakfasts though, veggie or not, you just can’t beat Belle & Herbs, which is only about 20m away.

The Sky Apple Cafe is a fantastic restaurant! You have to bring your own alcohol as it’s not licenced but the food is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. It’s my most favourite place to eat in newcastle!

Bob Trollop’s is a veggie pub with unprententious and filling meals, plenty of choice on the menu but sadly they’ve stopped doing the all day breakfast.
