A question about this place:
any feedback on aravia apartments on brookdale rd. east? or carriage house in university place? i want a nice safe place, but also want to be close for things to do, shopping, etc. any suggestions??

Don’t go with the East. University Place is a good place to live or North Tacoma.

Definitely go to North Tacoma! There are a lot of really great apartments there in the North End – reasonably priced and nestled in between the Mansions and views of the sound!
You are right near downtown, Point Defiance Park and easy highway access!

I lived at Aravia two years ago and LOVED it! They are off the main drag and in a decent area. I felt very secure there.
I know this is an old question, but wanted to let people know it really is a great place to live. Very beautiful property too!
