There’s a non-technical route, so I think we only need walking-uphill-when-it’s-dusty-and-hot-or-maybe-muddy-and-raining skills. Here’s an article:

Permits are sold out through the end of September. I think there’s some left for the 29/30 weekend, and then some in October.
