Are there any venues besides the Social to see good bands? I like mostly indie rock, but I am open for other suggestions...

Hmm… have you been to Will’s Pub on Mills Ave? A few good acts come through there. Also try Backbooth downtown.

Will’s Pub also gets good bands from time to time, by my standards (i.e. The Decemberists, Of Montreal, etc.), and The Club usually has “bigger” indie bands (like Interpol and Wilco).

sorry..i cant help you out. the only time i went was when i was 17 and i went to mgm and adventure island and downtown disney/boardwalk and i wasnt allowed inside where the clubs/bars were cuz i wasnt 18 and we didnt have a parent there with us. and we didnt really know our way around so i dunno.
