Bolivia is the only landlocked country in the world that has a navy. It shares a border and Lake Titicaca with Peru.

Also, there’s a place called Santa Cruz within Bolivia, and I think that ended up bringing in a lot of pictures from California’s Santa Cruz… I’ve removed them though. Good catch.

Bolivia has a huge freshwater lake in the middle of the altiplano (the high plateau at around 4000m that makes up about a third of the country).

This Lake Titicaca has lots of beaches around it, although it’s generally quite chilly there so you wouldn’t really want to lie down & sunbathe.
