Why I want to go to this place

Landed on by, and named after, Adalbert von Chamisso in the early 19th century. Chamisso was the author of Peter Schlemihl – the Man Who Lost His Shadow, and a pretty well known German poet. He travelled the world on a Russian exploration ship, which landed in the Kotzebue sound, then wintered in Hawaii. Not quite sure of its exact location!
