Pemaquid Point

My family had been going here for summers since my great-grandmother was young. I haven’t been back in about 9 years but I hope to return some day. I always remember it as one of the most peaceful places I’d ever been.

Huge slabs of granite smothed by centuries of erosion have shaped Pemaquid Point into an exotic and playful myriad of forms and shapes you could scour for days. The waves smashing against the rocks and the seagulls squawking overhead is a picture perfect experience of Maine.
