Grimaldi's Pizzaria

I always figured i would go here while showing tourists around, walking across the brooklyn bridge and then taking them here..

but we were just in DUMBO last night and walked over here, it wasn’t busy, it was great! now when i take family from home to get some pizza, it will be my second time here

great pizza, but the owner put his arm around my friend’s shoulder and told him ‘buddy, we need this table, you have to go’ while he was still drinking his coke. and we are pretty fast eaters! there’s no excuse for that kind of rudeness. we waited ouside just as long as everyone else. still, i’ll probably go back for the pizza.

This place has incredible pizza. Frank Sinatra apparently used to hang out here. It’s in DUMBO (District Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) but actually is under the Brooklyn end of the Brooklyn Bridge. The lines around dinner time are ridiculous. Go at lunch if you can. Unfortunately they don’t sell slices, you have to order a whole pizza, which your friends hope you don’t eat all of on the subway ride back home.
