Portillo's

Portillo’s, one of the most popular restaurant chains in the Chicago area, is now expanding into California. If you’ve never been to Portillo’s, I highly recommend it. Try the italian beef dipped, with sweet peppers (that’s Chicago-ese for green bell peppers.) The burgers are probably the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life. Salads are great too, as are the beef and cheddar croissant, and the charbroiled chicken croissant. You might need to go back a few times to try everything, but I assure you, it’s worth it! Chicagoland is known for having some of the best food in the country – and out of all Chicagoland, this is my favorite place. Besides Buena Park, they’ll soon be expanding to Moreno Valley, Whittier, and Ontario!

P.S. Portillo’s rhymes with pillows and armadillos – it’s Italian! Had to mention that because most Californians try to give it the Spanish pronunciation.
