I had lunch here twice, and it is now one of my favorite japanese places in the city. It is located in a basement and doesn’t look appealing at all from the outside. Still, it’s busy even for lunch, which is a good sign…
The restaurant actually looks pretty traditional japanese and nice inside, and the 2 lunch sets I had (including raw fish, soba noodles, appetizers and other stuff) are both impeccable. Oh also worth mentioning is their dessert… I love their sesame creme brulee and chocolate souffle ~
Don’t bother with ripoffs like Matsuri.. this is far better value..
