Nothing in America beats Taverna Kyklades over in NYC, I feel, but Christakis is right up there in terms of good food and a fine atmosphere. Grab a patio table if you can - place gets popular, reserve as needed. Had heard about this indirectly through some friends so we finally made a point to go there in a heap - well worth it through and through. Rack of lamb is their signature dish but be warned, it is expensive!
