Bank Of China Tower

My guidebook told me to take the elevator to the 43rd floor and see the view. I did this, because I was on a do-what-the-bloody-guidebook-tells-you-there’s-no-time-for-adventures kind of holiday. The view was pretty cool, but a bit disappointing after Victoria Peak, the Star Ferry and Tsim Sha Tsui promenade. Still, it was free, and in the comfort of a building (which also sucked because you couldn’t get good photos through the glass with the glare). There is an escalator that only stops on the ground floor and floor 43, so it takes no time at all to get up there.
