My lovely old school: Beytepe (Hacettepe)

I’m studying in the department of Statistics at this well-known University.The Faculty of Science in which I continue my education is located in the Beytepe campus.The campus is well far-away from the bustle of the city and has its great percentage as green areas.I like this.It’s famous for it’s Fine Arts faculty also,which attracts thousands of artists to this stronghold of lore,letting them to contribute in to the beauty of its appearance with statues,architecture,etc.The diversity of foreign students explain better the reputation of this school.
Everyone complains about its tough weather conditions,either in summer or in winter,but I think it’s a characteristic of this school that most stundents love.Like I do.Yes,I may have cursed the freezing cold and snow many times,I’ll admit,but now I think of the sweet,sleepy warmth of the lecture rooms and delicious hot-chocolate pleasure at Beycafe,it makes me embrace the school with all its offerings.And the summer is absolutely vigor-giving to the ones with a perception and understanding of the beauties what mother earth is cognizant with,instead of whining about the hot weather.The scent of a hundred flowers,small streams of water gently flowing across the grass,having a cooling,light dinner at Beytepe Mall,and many delights all of whom makes you fall in love with Hacettepe.I especially love the Green Vale (a.k.a. Yesil Vadi among the students) in summers.A grove among trees.A constant,tranquil breeze taking the burden of life off your shoulders,especially if you’re having a hard time in Summer Semestre,struggling with the lessons you must not fail once more time :)
Since Hacettepe is one of the Ankara’s and Turkey’s top schools,it has world-wide acknowledgment for its researches in popular science branches.Having by far the most elite medicine faculty of Turkey,this University is the pride and servant of our nation for 40 years.Also,the developments and researches in other areas like science,engineering,economy,management and social sciences constitutes a model for other newfound universities and professors from around the globe.
Long story short,it’s worth being student here,let alone visiting.Thank you,Hacettepe.I wish my remaining years within your safe walls brings me further accomplishment and a wide vision of life.None but one doctrine make one provail in life,knowledge is power.I wish to reap it here.
