Montreal Metro

I’ve been on the metros in London and Paris, and now Montreal, and it’s still my preferred means of public transportation above the bus. Montreal’s isn’t near as nice as London’s Underground (but few can compare), but its definitely cleaner than Paris’ system.

Word of warning: Berri-UQAM station is the heart of the system, and it gets REALLY crowded.

We went to Montreal on our honeymoon. We loved it. One of the best things was riding the metro around. We found it to be clean, well lit, and safe.
