Tettegouche State Park

This state park is absolutely beautiful. Our campsite had a hidden path leading down to what seemed like our own private stone beach on Lake Superior. It was a wonderful trip.

Tettegouche Camp is AWESOME! For a bargain price you can rent a cabin that has a fireplace, range, fridge, and heated bathrooms. We snowshoed four hours in sixty-degree weather one day to a point that looks out over Lake Superior. Outstanding. I had a little tear in my eye when we left. I loved this trip!

I am going in March! We are going to stay in a cozy little one-room cabin with a wood stove. We will have to travel 3.5 miles in to the camp – hopefully on skis. Snowshoes will take a long time. I imagine lots of snow, clinging to the trees all romantic-like. It has to be romantic-like if I’m goin’ with my man, right? And there are waterfalls, which may be frozen. It’s going to be beautiful. Here’s hoping for snow!!
