For all the attention the place increasingly gets, I have to say there was no attitude at all from anyone when I visited—and when you consider there normally is at the equivalent spots over in LA, that should say something about the two cities, and does! Saw my friends in the Shimura Curves here a little over a year ago, in slightly sad circumstances regrettably, but it was well worth it and I hope to see other bands there in later visits, if I am so lucky! On a summer evening it can’t be beat, and the friendly dog in the beer garden rules.
